Tracey Engel Music

Music has always been a steady presence in Tracey’s life, beginning with playing drums in a couple of bands, and jamming on guitar with fellow musicians and friends.

A turning point came at a dinner party, where Tracey played a few original songs. The encouragement from friends to record them sparked an exciting journey, leading to the launch of Tracey’s own production studio, Urban Blackbird Productions, based in Melbourne, Australia.

For Tracey, music is a vital dimension of life, understanding that in so many genres it helps us express, reflect, energise, relax, celebrate, grieve, hope, heal, dance, and most importantly, feel. Whether composing, or bringing music to life in the studio, Tracey creates music with emotion and intention, drawing on personal experience and everyday observations to craft songs that tell meaningful, lasting stories.
